If many rumours from past are to be believed as true, Samsung is planning to launch a new tablet in their Tab A series, that will most probably be the Galaxy Tab A2. Few pictures of the device were leaked in past, and this time some more photos have been surfaced on FCC by model number SM-T590. First spotted by 91Mobiles, these photos show the device from almost all of its sides, except from the back.
The Tab A2 has a 10.5 inch 1920 X 1200 screen with thin bezels on the left and right sides, while the top and bottom bezels are a little thicker. Judging by these photos, USB Type-C port for charging along with dual speakers are suspected to be present on the tab. The absence of a fingerprint sensor on the front suggests that it might not be present on the device, as the rear side doesn’t look like a good place to house it, given the size of the front bezels.
As the tablet has already passed various certifications including Wi-Fi, FCC, Bluetooth, etc., it is expected to be launched soon. Most probably, it wouldn’t be making its way in the same launch event as of the Galaxy Note 9. Samsung is also gearing up to launch another tab, the Galaxy Tab S4. But, the Galaxy Tab A2 could be slightly cheaper than the Tab S4.
As of now, much details about the devices aren’t known yet. Stay tuned with us for any future updates!
