Although its official theatrical premiere is still a two weeks away, the embargo on Logan reviews is up, and the early responses suggest that Hugh Jackman’s final outing as the titular adamantium-laced mutant – who sometimes goes by the name Wolverine – sends the actor out on a high note. That’s good news for fans hoping to see the third solo Wolverine film continue the franchises’ upswing in quality from the 2009 effort X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and it should certainly help get more than just diehard comic book fans into theaters when March 3 rolls around.

It isn’t like Logan is going to be a hard sell, but studios are constantly looking for ways to further entice moviegoers into cramming into a dark room to watch the latest action-packed adventure inspired by the funny books. Sporting an R-rating and coming off several alluring red-band trailers, the decidedly not kid-friendly mutant outing can still use a little additional marketing as the wait for the film’s premiere is so close.

With that in mind, Fox has teamed with six comic book artists to bring their take on Logan to life in six all-new “limited-edition Logan homage posters.” In an effort to make the posters more exclusive, they will “only be installed in six locations found along the route Logan takes in the film”. Installation aside, fans buy a ticket through Atom Tickets can get a free mini-poster with each purchase. The poster installations will extend from El Paso, TX all the way up to Williston, ND, and will include the likes of Art Adams, Becky Cloonan, Jeff Lemiere, and Bill Sienkiewicz. Take a look at the posters and locations below:

The nod to Logan’s comic book roots will likely please fans who grew up reading the characters adventures and still marvel to his (and X-23’s) mutant exploits in the pages of Marvel Comics’ books. Installing the posters at the six movie specific locations is also a nice touch, as it highlights more than a few locales not often represented in big-budget Hollywood blockbusters, hinting at the scope of the film.

With Logan just about in theaters, it’s probably too late to plan a road trip, but for fans who live in those areas, there’s another reason to head over to the movie theater come March 3.
