Netflix just announced plans for its hit reality series Love is Blind to reunite the cast and crew for a special reunion episode. Netflix knows what the people want and they want drama. Love is Blind gave us plenty of drama during the course of the first season. With the Love is Blind season finale tomorrow, we’re sure to get even more drama. We’ll finally learn which couples tied the knot, and the Love is Blind reunion should let us know which couples made it work.
The ninth episode of Love is Blind showed the main couples last minute preparations and doubts about their weddings and partners. Even Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed, who have been one of the series’ strongest couples, were starting to show cracks. The episode ended with turbulent couple Damian Powers and Giannina Gibelli about to say “I do.” Giannina had already said “I do” and waited for a nervous Damian to utter those two little words too. Netflix kept us on the edge by ending the episode on a cliffhanger about whether he would commit to their marriage.
Earlier today, Netflix released a photo to go with the reunion announcement. They say a picture says a thousand words and boy did this picture say a lot. Love is Blind hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey are sitting in the middle of two sets of six people. The positioning of the couples seem to give a big clue to which couples are together and which ones have split, or didn’t get married. The finale airs tomorow and the reunion special will be up on Netflix on March 5, check out the Netflix US tweet below.
Carlton Morton and Diamond Jack are clearly sitting apart, as their romance fizzled way before their potential wedding. Jessica Batten and Mark Cuevas are also sitting apart. Cameron and Lauren are sitting together, close and comfortable. Amber Pike and Matt Barnett are sitting together, and she even has a hand on his leg. Amber also looks very different with a new blonde hairdo. Kelly Chase and Kenny Barnes are also sitting together.
Netflix has been teasing one bride falling to the ground and saying she couldn’t do it. From the preview, it appears that the bride had blonde hair, leaving only two options. We suspect that Giannina and Damian start the episode off by getting married. We were a little skeptical about whether they could make it last, but it looks like they may have found a way to get pass their issues. This means that Jessica likely leaves Mark at the altar. Some internet detectives already figured out that Lauren and Cameron appear still to be together, so that comes as no surprise.
If the picture is to be trusted, then it seems like only Mark and Jessica didn’t last or get married. That’s a pretty good success rate for Love is Blind, especially since the show finished filming at the end of 2018, meaning that they’ve lasted for at least a little over a year.
