Jessica Batten from Love Is Blind just revealed that she tried to leave the Netflix show but was unable to. Jessica wanted to stop filming to take care of outside problems but was told she would have to finish participating in the show.

Netflix decided to release a dating reality show of their own called Love is Blind and created a hit. The premise of the show is for singles to try and find a significant other to fall in love with; the only catch is the singles must do this without ever laying eyes on one another. Viewers watched as the couples tried to form an emotional connection without the interruption of physical attraction. Netflix is veering from its usual layout and releasing each episode in chunks instead of the first season at once.

Jessica Batten had questionably turned into one of the most vital cast members on the show due to her not being able to make a straightforward decision. But according to the EW, the blonde tried to leave the show but was unable to.  The entire season fans watched as Jessica struggled to comprehend the ten-year age gap between her and Mark, eventually telling her fiancé she could not marry him at the altar.

According to the outlet, the Netflix star claimed she tried to end her relationship before the wedding took place. Jessica revealed that she was never given an opportunity to end their relationship before the wedding. The 34-year-old had made up her mind prior to the intimate ceremony but was told she had to stay to film the outcome. The contestant said there were also other factors such as her dog becoming ill and almost dying while she taped the show. Her dog, Peyton, had eaten a small stick that did not settle well inside her stomach and required surgery.

Jessica admitted that essentially lying to the cameras about her and Mark’s relationship was difficult, especially since she knew the relationship was not going to amount to anything special calling the experience “psychological warfare.” Fans looked at Jessica as a representation of how hard current and past relationships could be.

But, for some audience members, the new reality star is a bit over the top - case and point her forced baby voice. She also had recently made the news feeding her dog wine as it was seen as animal cruelty. While it is safe to say by forcing Jessica to stay and film it made the show a bit more interesting. Thanks to her love triangle with Barnett and Amber the first season was a hit, leaving fans demanding more and eager for the reunion special to get all of the tea.
